Neptune Aquatics

my 240 gallon downsizing to my new 90 gallon

Oh erin. You know they are. Ha ha ha. I have a few more sps to remove and the tank is strictly LPS. Jim has my bigger sps now. I hope he enjoys the Tenius as much as I did. It started out as a 1/2 inch frag and turned out to become a beautiful big 8 plus inch colony. It will be missed. But at least it has a good home. That's all that matters to me. Next is my banana eel and big ass marine betta.

here is the tank as of today.

and this is a LED only reef system. LPS seem to love the light but sps, not so much. the sps look fine just growth has slowed down, still growing just a lot slower.

J,

That tenuous is a monster...looking forward to putting it in the main display after qt.
Yeah it's big. It grows fast once it is attached to something. I had that from a 1/2 inch piece. It took about 2 years to get that big and I have fragged it several times in the past. One of my favorites.

I think I would switch the huge cynarina in middle with the war coral favids right of center on the bottom.
Just a thought
Yeah I have to move around some stuff since I will be removing my eel and marine betta so everything will be taken out and put back together. Then I will take out the remainder sps. Which is mostly montis and a few small sticks and maybe my big orange pavona. We'll see. Still deciding on if I want to keep the montis, they are my favorite type of sps.

I had 11 clams at one point in the tank and all responded well to it. As you can see I only kept my pink joker maxima clam and the squamosa clam since they were the best looking. The 2 are doing really well. They have loved their spots and don't move. Happy to have them. Surprised that they made the move, actually surprised I only lost about 3 corals and about 3 fish. Not bad considering what everything went through. The tank is still settling in so we'll see by next year
