Here is my plan. Tell me what you think! Suggestions are welcome!
DT: 28 gallon JBJ Nano-Cube
Stand: 20" long x 24" wide x 36" high
Sump: 25 gallon tall, 24" long x 12" wide x 20" high
Skimmer: SWC Xtreme 120 Cone Protein Skimmer
EcoTech Marine MP10 Vortech Propeller Pump w/ EcoSMART Driver
3 X Two Little Fishies Reactor 150: Carbon, GFO, Bio-Pellets
BRS Top Off Doser (50 mL Per Minute)
Controller with internet
Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080p HD Webcam
iPhone 5 (when it comes out lols)
Fuge with PC light
Heater
DT lighting: probably LEDs
I am thinking of doing 50% weekly(that's 14 gallons) water changes which equals to a total of 200% a month. 7 gallons will be from an acro SPS/LPS reef which will have very clean water and the other 7 gallons will be brand new saltwater.(thinking of doing 2 x 25% a week instead of 50% at once so the azoox animals wont stress out?)
I think I'm also going to add Zeovit Media into a mesh bag.
Automated Feeding System: mini refrigerator with venturi valve/magnetic mixer/dosing pump method. I'm thinking about feeding 12 times a day, once every 2 hours?
Foods that will go into the Erlenmeyer Flask:
Frozen Cyclop-eeze
Frozen Rotifers
Ultra Clam
Ultra Min D(should I even get Ultra Min S?)
Ultra Min F
Ultra Seafan
I'll also grow live phytoplankton for the Tunicates. I'll install a 2 liter soda bottle with a bubbler to keep the phytoplankton in suspension and slowly drip it like most people do with kalkwasser. I think I'll go with these species: Nannochloropsis oculata, Thalassiosira scotia, Pavlova lutheri, Isochrysis galbana and Tetraselmis sp.
Also going to spot feed the azoox LPS with Mysis.
Stock list:
Pair of Dwarf Cuttlefish
Quite a bit of azoox LPS(Tubastrea, Balanophyllia, Dendrophyllia, Rhizotrochus, Archohelia rediviva, etc)
Red Chili Coral (Alcyonium sp)
Mokey Sea Squirt (Eusynstyela sp)
Menella sp.
Diodogorgia nodulifera
Red Swiftia
(maybe a few other diff gorgonians not sure)
2-3 Feather starfish
1 Basket Starfish
I think I'm going to get a Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080p HD Webcam so I can watch the tank if I go somewhere and if something does go wrong and someone is there, I could easily point out what to do.
