My DIY 20g Sump

Hey BAR.. here's sump design that I completed late last night. I haven't put it to work yet - still waiting for the silicone to dry up. I should be albe to use it tonight.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this - I'd like to get some input before putting it to work / production.

if you can put both skimmer and return pumps outside the sump that would be much better. Those pump can add heat to your tank.

I've thought about putting the skimmer out of the sump... I don't have too much room on my stand cabinet though.

Xinu - did I mentioned that I like the skimmer you sold me. :lol:

It's for my 65g AGA tank. I kind-a like the sock though. It helps keep the water clean - if even for just a little bit.

The filter sock will help you eliminate some of the micro bubbles too ...
