Thanks for your emergency help Jess. The temp fix is working great. I didnt put the eggcrate below the skimmer. Since the elbow now makes it longer, it barely fit in the sump. Hope the old pump has the part, else i'm in trouble.

reef octopus nb 110 (i believe). The pump has the threaded return, but I'm missing the part that goes from the threaded return to the awkward sized inlet of the skimmer (between 1" & 3/4")

its an elbow on one side thats a female threaded funny pitch though 1 1/4 and it is a 1" inside diameter on the side that goes to skimmer body
