Welcome. You don't have to wait to get it set up to start posting about it. The tank journals is a great way to keep a chronology of the progression of your tank from start to finish.

Welcome to the club, looking forward to seeing some of your photographs. We use a variety of methods to get decent tank shots. @Enderturtle gave a nice introductory class last year on tank photography. He highlighted the basics of capturing sharp and realistic colors in the reef tank. There were tricks covered to improve quality on the simplest of camera phones up through advanced DLSRs.
