New spots on my foxface rabbitfish

I was looking at my fish this morning and noticed a white spot on the side of my foxface. I never saw this before and snapped a picture out of curiosity. This was around 1230 today. Now that it’s 4, I saw this spot had turned black and I’m even more concerned than I was before. Behavior isn’t really different, and I haven’t added anything new to the tank nor changed normal maintenance. I don’t see anything on any of the other fish. Does anybody have any ideas? Trying to do a couple searches online but I’m not quite seeing similar spots.

Fish have chromatophores and communicate with change of color and or pattern.

It’s just weird how quickly that spot came up and changed. I don’t want to overreact, but I also want to catch anything early as possible.

My two bar rabbitfish will get blotchy dark grey spots on it at night. Looks like the fish just changing its color to me too.

This guy gets splotchy and differently colored at night as well so I’m familiar with those changes, this is just different being one spot and so quickly
