hahaha that's me currently. Although I'm not sure if its a good idea for me to start another tank right now, I was looking into the reef casa tank and start a little coral farm.

I still use the same 19 year old refractometer. No need to get complicated.

Ok that's good, honestly you don't need to go higher than 8. How is your salinity and what method are you using to check it?

The fact the snails died so fast is a little concerning so we'll try to troubleshoot here.

Second that. I run my tank at 8. The key is stability - versus chasing some magic number

I bought the Milwaukee digital refractometer. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion. Make life a tad easier.
