Nhan's 120g reef

Hello there, my name is Nhan. I have been keeping fresh water for many years from Discuss, to Asian Aro to Flowerhorn. Since last summer, my wife and kids asked me to set up a saltwater tank and I agreed so here is our first ever salt water.

Here are the information of the tank equipment:
It's an Oceanic 120g tech series, 50g Kritter sump, 2 MP40WES, 2 Radion G1 w/TIR, SSA Hero180CS skimmer, BRS dual (GFO/Carbon) reactor, Sicce sybcra 5.0 return pump.

It took me two week to modified the sump, build the stand, canopy and light hanging kit.

I bought 100 lbs of rock from Aquatic Collection. While I cycle the rock and do plumping the tank my brother wanted to leave the hobby and gave me a complete 40g Cadlight Artisan set up with some rock, coral and couple clown. This is big help for my new set up, so I quickly transfer his live stock, water and rock into my new tank on late July 2013.

Since July, I learn a big lesson with itch outbreak on my tank and most all of the fish die around October 2013. Then I had another crash while I'm on vacation early December 2013. Since then I slowly adjust thing and the tank back to normal again. I know it still new but so far except Xenia not thriving and couple zoa not happy, other than that fish are healthy and coral are growing.

At the moment I have:
Fish: 1 yellow tang, 1 desjardini sailfin tang, 1 Kole tang, two damsels, 3 chromis, shrimp, snail, starfish.
Coral: 10 difference types of zoa, 17 difference types of Chalices, 8 difference type of Acans, couple tiny bridnest, leather toadstood, some ricordeas, some mushroom, some xenia, cloves, duncan, flower pot, frogspawn, GSP....

Below are some pictures, last two pictures just took last night after redo some rock work.

First...welcome!
Since you have an affinity for fish that need to swim. I recommend that the fish be allowed to swim around all of the rockscape. If the scape was more island/pillar style rather than sloping from back to front the fish are able. This style will also allow for more beneficial water flow.
Happy reefing and best fishes
