Oliver’s red sea reefer 425xl

New update in my tank : about 3 months ago I fought dinoflagellates due to a rocky mistake lol , I removed more chaeto that I was supposed to them my phosphates went to 0 then my nitrates sky rocket everything was a disaster , anyway with advice from bar members , reading in different forums and not stopping doing more research , finally dinos are gone in my tank and everything is back to normal, sadly I lose a few of my best corals in my tank but I learned the hard way that dinos are one of the worst reefer enemy .

Hello there reefers a quick update on my system , I went out for the weekend left my home Friday and came back yesterday just to found out that my heater was not working and the temperature dropped to 65* , the heater was not old at all bought it from BRS june from last year I called BRS ad they are sending me a new for free , anyway regarding my corals all of them are super closed up not looking good specially my euphylias I guess it'll be a waiting game to see what will happen , yeah I know I should get an Apex hopefully soon , thank you for reading.

Bummer man. Like people have said there are ways without an apex, but it would make it easy and have alerts! Hope they pull through. Be patient. Raise temp back up slowly.
Ink bird with two heaters, ranco, etc...

A little update on my system after my heater failed 2 months ago , the recount of what I unfortunately lost is , my sps colony that I got from @omar , I lost my kryptonite candy cane that I got from @mike and one of my scolys is like literally about to die , I'm asking for some help with my scoly maybe someone can nurse it back to life and help me with it? Anyway that is the damage recount after my heater failure , thank you for reading .

Wow that sucks! On the bright side, at least it seems the casualties are fairly low. ive had two heaters fail, one time 90% died since it happened while I was at work. Do you have any kind of redundancy/controller? May be worth getting at least an ink bird. I decided to go with an apex for more piece of mind. Edit: Oops nevermind I didn’t read the earlier posts, looks like it was the opposite of mine where heater wasn’t on. That’s what I get for not reading all the context

Hello guys another update here about my tank , I havebeen busy lately with work and some other stuff , so to make the store short , I noticed that some of my euphylias were not doing well so I decided to test my parameters and what I found out is that both of my dosing pumps were not working properly , so my ALK right now is at 12.5 and my CA is at 500 so I will do a water change to try to lower it a little bit , I'm getting rid of both of my pumps and I'm asking for recommendations to see what you guys recommend me for ALK , Mg and Ca , thank you in advance. ( Also adding some pictures of some of my mushrooms which I soon will add another DBTC this mushroom came from @bondolo and I luckily propagated already.
