I have one lobe of orange and green lobophyllia. The photo is a lights-out shot of the whole colony pre-chop. It shows more green when under reef lighting.
Be warned that this is not a friendly coral. It likes to sting LPS and SPS. It was the winner of an extended battle against an equally unfriendly hydnophora and was starting to attack other neighbours.
Prefers medium flow and lighting. Will white out if lights are too bright and "sulk" if lights are too dim.
Conditions:
- Must be a BAR supporting member in good standing.
- Must have had your tank up at least 3 months with adequate lighting.
- Must agree to pass at least one lobe off to DBTC when you chop it in the future.
- Preference given to those who have put coral into DBTC in the last year.
Pickup at my place in North Berkeley or (very occasionally) daytime in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale near the new Levi's Stadium.
