Chinese 2 handed broadsword (Dai Do / Da Dao).
I did the custom wraps, guard, and ring pommel. Also ground off the live edge for safety when practicing. Both swords are typical/"regulation" military size and weight at 3.5 pounds.
This sword was used by military in the Sino-Japanese war, mainly against rifles and bayonets. Also used by militia.
My great-grandteacher along with others, taught this weapon to the military. This sword was particularly famous for use in defense of the Great Wall (battle of Xifeng Kou).
