Oyster Feast

Could someone telll me why I need to pre-mix it with tank water? So far I just squeeze the bottle directly into the tank in front of a powerhead. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.

Mixing is for when you want to spot feed.

I have a RN caddy (no joke) that I go to the fridge with when I pull out my fully pimped line of RN products to feed. I walk over with my "reef caddy" and fill 'er up walk over to my tank, squirt it like a hot dog, and walk back to the fridge with my caddy and bottles and place my product back in the fridge. :D
 
Thanks Jeremy, I know I was doing something wrong, I need a fashionable caddy ;D. One more question, Does it matter when I feed? I try to feed a few minutes before all lights go off, but it is difficult to remember it. It would be easier if I just dump it in with the rest of fish food during my daily feeding.
 
I use it before I feed the fish. I want the coral to be in a "ready to eat mode" so when I feed the fish, the coral can get the stuff I feed the fish too.
