Haha no...Is it quieter now?
Oh yea, I turned everything off. All the extra water went into sump. Also that's a lot of water in that sump.
I think it drains bubbles along with it, I have the valve completely opened. do u think adjusting the drain down to no bubble will help?It never bothered me.
Since i got the same tank, first one is make sure the water in the sump goes up to where the pipes are in sump, that fixes some of the noise, second one is in the top of your tank, i have a tiny piece of airline tubing that stopped all the sound that came from the water as it goes though the overflow.Woooot!!!
All the equipments are working flawlessly!! Thanks @Srt4eric
So far no leaks that I should be concerning. Only the drain pipe is leaking small drips back to the sump, that's because I didn't glue it, so is normal.
Now please help a newbie out... Why do my tank sound like heavy rainfall? Is it because I didn't adjust the water flow in the drain to match the water being pump? Or is that actually normal?
Wonderful tip, I will try that see how it goes. I am glad we have the same tank, now I can bug you hahah Thank youSince i got the same tank, first one is make sure the water in the sump goes up to where the pipes are in sump, that fixes some of the noise, second one is in the top of your tank, i have a tiny piece of airline tubing that stopped all the sound that came from the water as it goes though the overflow.

Haha yes thanks, this is hard work and I am doing ONE 40g... Can't imagine what you are going throught with ur monster tank and other tanks hahaYou’re almost there!
Thanks I might try modifying it if the noise is unbearable.Look up stockman standpipe since you're dealing with a single drain. I ran one for awhile and it made a noticeable difference noise-wise.
