Given the rainy weather, I will be removing two larger pieces between 7-10 inch in length from these two colonies.
The sunset in particular is highly encrusting and should be positioned VERY carefully and not like I did in some prominent spot where it is in continuous competition with other corals, often seemingly winning.
The red monti was a 1 inch frag which grew into this 15+ inches in diameter monster in the past couple of years, shading everything underneath (another legacy mistake I made). The fish love to hide under both of them, so not too bad but still some of my bigger regrets - I might have to replace these rocks at one point (…

Ready to pick up today at Walnut Creek, can be cut into smaller sizes, but I cannot keep them longer than today.
