I have a rock with 6 rainbow BTA's. They all split from a single one I got from Aquatic Collection about 8 years ago. Honestly, these look brighter than a typical rainbow, but I'm not going to try to upsell it as something fancier than that. They are beautiful. I have put them next to my CSB, and intensity-wise, they're the same, but these are more red while the CSB is more orange.
I'm keeping one, but the others are up for grabs. They're all lodged on one 6" x 6" marco rock.
Note:
- tank and rock has bubble algae (aggressive feeding and in a temp tank so there's a bit of phosphates)
- had dinoflagellates at some point (controlled by a matured diverse tank now)
- rock is about 10 years old or more, from dry marco rock
- tank has not had any SPS/LPS, for 5+ years, only anemones and fish
- only two fish in the last 5+ years, two clowns (aquacultured)
- no known pests in the past 5+ years (no bristleworms, no stars, no crabs)
