[PIF] Varieties of Anacropora and Montipora

DISCLAIMER: Fairly recently, I found a singular montipora-eating nudibranch in my main tank, and eggs on one frag. I pulled all Montipora, Anacropora and Porites (including unaffected colonies) immediately and no longer keep those genera in the tank at all. I then started the process as follows for the corals I pulled out:

QT in a separate system
Frequent (2x/week) dipping.
Inspection of the undersides of coral every other day.
Scraping and gluing over of potential egg laying spots.

I believe that I have successfully cleaned the corals of nudis because I have seen no nudibranchs nor egg masses any time I check the corals' undersides, but now I'm realizing how much of a pain keeping a QT is going to be while I run the tank Montipora-fallow, so i'm PIF my montis.

If you’d like I can try dipping in potassium permanganate, but it seems pretty harsh so far.

FRAGS:

Small beach bum frags x2
Pink digi frag x1
Emerald fire frag x1
Forest fire frag x2

MINI-COLONIES:

Green Goblin colonies

You should still dip and inspect if you can.

I’d love to get some of your DBTC zoas and/or mushrooms if possible! Want to hold off on DBTC for a bit until I get more feedback on the thread I created first though. Dont want to slow down the chain if I cant pass on frags for months

It’s OK, dbtc is a good-faith program. Do it with the intention of spreading corals around and it’s all good
