My sister was very avid when she started reefing. Since it was 15 years ago, she bought lots of books.
Now we have the internet, and books are kinda obsolete.
I have a collection on her books that are at least 10 to 15 years old.
The books are free with a catch.
My sister and I have parrots. And instead of cash for the books we would like a donation made to Mikaboo Companion Bird Rescue. Many people buy parrots because they are beautiful birds, but do not realize how hard they can be to take care of. Others don’t realize some species of parrots will live up to and over 100 years of age. Well out living their owners. Parrots are a flock animal and their human is their flock. When someone passes, or the bird is given up it can experience deep depression that it will never forget!
Mikaboo is the bay area’s parrot rescue. They are a non-profit, and have foster homes all up and down the coast. Donations go towards food, vet care, and medications.
Donate whatever you feel is appropriate for the books and they are yours. I live in SJ near Bass Pro, and would prefer pickup.
One more thing… when done with the books, throw em back on the BAR. Just don’t sell them.
Ps the donation is for the whole lot not per book.
