Please help!! Is this ok? So upset!!

So I'm spending this weekend getting our 180 tank ready with my oldest daughter. We removed the black sticker on the back on the tank glass to paint it and on the top right corner I see this. It is about 5" from the top right corner. The glass is 3/4" thick and goes in just under a 1/4" . The guy I got it from had the tank standing up on it's side and wondering if a rock got in there slightly?

Do you all think I will be ok? Is this something I have to worry about? I am so upset along with my daughter because we have done all this work getting ready for this tank and now this.

no gaurantees but from what I can see it looks like it would be ok. plenty of good silicone contact inside of that chip/crak and doesnt look like it will spread. Can you set it outside and water test it fully filled?

from the outter edge the chip/blemish goes in about 1/4in. which still leave 1/2in(ish) of good silicone seal.

From the other side it looks like nothing ever happened other than a very small grind on the glass where it probably sat in a rock. Here is a pic

If you decide to use it. I would fill the crack with some windshield filler. It will help it from spidering.

Make sure you don't twist the plunger in to hard and make it worse. Watch some YouTube vids to understand.
