I have been wondering...Are you supposed to refrigerate Selcon after opening? It doesn't say on the bottle.

My Seachem Reef Plus says to refrigerate after opening, so I went ahead and put the Selcon in the frig too, but because of the high lipid content, it is gloppy. I also wondered if it should be refrigerated because it is a kind of food supplement, and I didn't want it to spoil.

What do you do with yours?

I too wonder about what needs to be refrigerated even if it doesnt say on the label. Most times I do and if it gets gloppy I set it out to get to room temperature. Its just the bottles are so big and last so long one wonders how they could still be as effective as when you first open them. Not saying it goes bad but of deterioration of quality ingredients more so than spoling of contents.

Does anyone else refrigerate their Selcon or do you keep it out? Has anyone noticed any quality issues with either?
