RED COTTON ALGAE

I second (third, fourth, wherever I am in line) the Mexican Turbos. My tank was at one point completely infested with the stuff. I manually pulled the crap off and put in some mexican turbos and I've been cotton candy algae free for years. You CAN eradicate it!

thanks guys.. put both mexican turbos on the cotton last night before the lights went off looks like they ate alittle of it. Fingers crossed
 
Yeah maybe putting some macro algae in a fry hang on side container maybe be a good option too. Dont particulary like the look of all this stuff hanging all over the tank, but for now thats better than red hairy stuff killing the corals.
