That nook was made for fish tanks! Advice for dinos is make sure your nutrient import and export is more regular to stabilize the bacteria population. You could add an auto feeder for 3x daily fish feedings and do water changes more regularly.

Installed a uv sterilizer, first time using one in my 12+ years. Within 24hrs 99% of my dinos are gone and corals seem to be happier, the water is so clear, better than carbon it seems.
