hi all,

I have the new ReefMat now so I don't need all the Red Sea filter stuff I have...

Here's what I have:
  • 4 filter socks new in box: 2 100 micro, 2 225 micron (I might have more - including some mesh socks... if I do they're yours too)
  • at least 2 filter cups. 2 unused - maybe more hiding in a box
  • a bag of filter floss from amazon that's about 80% full
All free to any supporting member: caveat, you have to take all of it :p

After the break in period, if any, can you share your experience with the ReefMat?

100% will do. I'm not running it yet. Currently I'm letting the dust from the sand all settle into a filter sock.
Water's clear now so I'll probably pull the sock later today and add the Fritz Turbo start. Once I've let the turbo start do its thing for a couple days I'll put the mat on.

stay tuned

How did you size your skimmer with the ReefMatt?
I called every number I could find for Bubble King online and finally talked to someone. Mine will be oversized till my bio load gets up. which is fine I guess - I'll just make sure my AWC adds a bit of extra new salt water to make sure salinity stays stable
