Reef-A-Palooza ?

Have any Bay Area reefers previously attended Reefapalooza in So Cal.? If so, is it worth making the trek down there next month? Are vendors prices any different than retail, are they selling mostly frags or colonies as well?
Any comments welcome!

Mainly frags. Is it super cheap? Nah. You might find some deals.

It's more of the experience. Pick up some frags to enhance it. Would I go again yeah sure. Have fun though!
 
I used to live in So Cal and went to RAP a few years in a row. It was fun, almost always found good deals on corals (you have to be there at the end of the day Sunday when vendors are trying to unload corals) but not much on dry goods. I probably wouldn't make the drive looking for deals but it's a fun experience being around so many like-minded people.

I would expect to see mostly frags.

I've attended RAP every other year or so with a few BAR members. Worth a trip if you haven't been. Prices do range depending on what you're looking for. If you're down there, spend some time from booth to booth, you might score some good deals. There are also a ton of raffle prizes too.
