Reef Nutrition Question

I’ve been using the Pyto Feast for a couple of month now and it has made a huge difference in the diversity of the tank. There has been an explosion of tigger pods all over the glass at night, fan worms (hundreds of the little red ones, but also 3 rather large ones coming out of the sand), and spaghetti worms. There’s even a small oyster(?) that has grown and responds to the food addition by pumping it’s shell to circulate the water faster.

Now it’s time to move on and also use a zooplankton supplement. In a tank that is mostly softies and LPS what is the best product; Roti Feast or Oyster Feast. The particle size of each doesn’t very much. If Oyster Feast stimulates the LPS to open up for larger food items (Artipods) that would make the difference, I think. Maybe a combo of both?

Ideas? What is everyone else doing?

I would feed several things however, just OF alone will elicit a big feeding response from LPS that I didn't get with other RN feeds.

IIRC it is suggested to use Oyster Feast to entise a feeding response from the corals and then 10min later or so to then feed something like Roti Feast to the tank.
I am sure if we wait a little longer Gresham will chime in with a response.

Long time no talk Con :)

You're talking phytopheast, right? I'm betting the oysterpheast is the same? How long does a bottle last?

Phyto Feast, Oyster Feast, Roti Feast are all different. BTW, Phyto Feast is cheaper than the other stuff at around $10/6 oz. bottle.

They have an expiration date on them so get the one with the furthest expiration date. I posted this awhile back regarding shelf life or RN products.
