Reef safe storage bin from Home Depot?

Anybody used any Storage bin from home depot to hold water while I drain the old tank for the new tank? If so which one?

I don’t think any regular plastic bins would be a reef-safe concern. Mostly need to make sure it is sturdy enough to hold the weight of the water.

The heavy duty reinforced ones they sell various places are good, “Greenmade” (black body and yellow top) is the brand they have at Costco.

I just use Brute trash cans. I know the grey ones are food safe... come of the colors actually aren't.
Plus with the optional wheels they're pretty convenient & mobile

Wash with a vinegar solution, then rinse well, and almost any plastic bin will work.
The main concern is chemicals on the plastic from manufacturing or shipment.

I have used Brute trash cans, black bins above, and blue rubbermaid bins.
