I would definitely find out where the source of their clams are. You want one that tests for perkinsus in protozoans that cause pinched mantle and subsequent death: https://humble.fish/community/threads/moving-on-over-to-humblefish-hello.18857/post-384247

A simple fresh water dip only alleviates symptoms. No cure, only prevention. And it can spread to other clams in your tank.

My understanding is that their clams come from Quality Marine (which I know supplies a few LFS).
