Just curious, what does tds have to do with dissolving algae and coralline? Haven't heard that before.I suspect it will dissolve over time. What time that is depends on how much it gets agitated and what the TDS (total dissolved solids) of the water is.
No, you will need to add some citric acid and then the coralline will either melt or soften up so it can be wiped away. However if you do an angelfish/discus low pH tank that will happen with time anyway.I’m converting my tank to freshwater but there’s a lot of green algae and coraline on the glass and overflow.
If I run it with cold freshwater and a ton of power heads for a few days, do you think it will go away and get filtered out?
