Resin - does this look right?

Hey guys,

Replaced all my membranes, filters and resin. I noticed that water is coming from the side in the picture. It looks odd to me but never looked that closely.

That’s normal.

The water flow goes down around the outside of the cartridge, then up through the cartridge, then out. It does that when there is air trapped in that space. Doesn’t affect the function since the cartridge only fills with water from the bottom.

Thanks JVU. If I remember correctly, the water level in my resin would go up halfway but now it is only about an inch high? Water pressure on the gauge is at 60.

Appreciate the help, this is better than BRS tech support.

RODI system seems to be good now with 18 TDS in and 0 out.This is the way I remembered it.

You can always loosen the filter housing enough to let air out and then tighten it
