RN Arctic Pods Q

I have this bottle of pods that's basically new, opened it to feed the system at home but saw some white things and held back on the feeding; big bottle $40, noticed that some white spots have formed inside of it on top and bottom; to me they seem like fungi sort of things and better safe than sorry so not feeding it to my fish or corals.
I really hate to have to throw 40 smackers away; checked for a label with exp. date or lot number and none.
Would it be safe to use or just ditch the idea?

Thanks

The date can be really hard to see.....It's usually sideways on the label near the left or right edge.

PM Gresham so he gets an email notiofication and he'll answer. But for now I wouldn't use it just in case.....

Check the datet, AFAIK fungus or bacteria for that matter have a very tough time growing in the solution. When the Arcti Pods go south you'll notice the shells look empty and there'll be more oil beads at the top of the solution as the pods leak fatty acids.

It's a precip of the salts used to preserve it. If the bottle came in contact with too cold of conditions in one spot, it starts the crystals forming and there is no stopping it once it gets going. They won't go back into solution.

Its OK to use, but, if you PM me we'll send you a replacement.

The best before should be in either the lower left corner by the UPC, on the left side of the middle panel on the label or if it's really old, it'll have a sticker.

Like Jeremy said, age is usually equated with how much the pods are intact.
