For those that have expressed interest, I had another spawning episode tonight....so it's possible that some of these may be having babies (Not sure how old they need to be to be viable to breed)

I’m curious if you see the same colors popping up or random mixtures etc?

I would say mostly random....the father is nuclear green and mom is all red....but I have a few orange with green/ red centers, some red tentacles with bright yellow centers and some green with sporadic white.

Also, some have long tentacles, others have short ones. Some tentacles are all smooth, while others are serrated.

Do you notice any correlation between full moon and the nem spawning events, or is it just random?
Is there any predictability in their frequency?
Do they spawn after water changes?

I didn't notice any moon related events....but I am sure you could look at the day I posted the spawning to see if anything lunar was occuring that day. I do spot feed them quite regularly.

Do these rock flower nems stay small? I have one that is not super colorful but it is like 6" across and may eat fish. Wonder if they are similar or just go by the same common name.

They grow based on about of food they get. I spot feed the babies and they grow pretty fast. The "parents" I have are about 4" in diameter
