I have about 35-40 in my tank, and have had them for years. I don't spot feed them and never have. They stay about 3-4" max (most smaller) and I've never lost a fish to one.

I have seen 6-7" flower nems that I'm sure can grab a fish, but m it's pretty rare.
How do you do it? I have 30 in my tank but they've never spawned!

I think it is because I target feed them...maybe the extra food / energy causes them to spawn..

that last one is pretty sweet!
My rock flower recently died b/c it tried to eat the head of a torch that polyp bailed. Crazy. I would definitely love to buy one.

They just grab bits of frozen food / mysis with their tentacles
Good lighting mostly.

Oh, I didn't know that they were photosynthetic. I though that they needed to be fed frequently.
If that's the case I may interested.
