My chalice's new growth around the edge is brown. It's getting about 140-160 par on the sandbed. Will it turn back to green/blue or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!! I moved it to a corner of my sandbed.Browning or loss of color (but not bleaching) is a sign of to much light.
of course not! Is anyone ever happy with their tank?Rock turned out great. Yah happy with it?
Yes, every day I wake up and see the happy fish and coral it makes me happy.of course not! Is anyone ever happy with their tank?
If you're interested in basic coral photography, I cannot recommend the Icecap lens kit (or something similar) enough: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/clip-on-photo-lens-kit-icecap.html . It's $35, but makes capturing pictures of your tank so much better.Taken using the free CFM orange glasses .

I got one from @musclebenz last year and that made a HUGE difference. I wish I'd bought one a lot earlier.
Anyone know how to get one of those in say 62mm, 77mm or 82mm.... or what Gel color code these typically are?
