got ethical husbandry?

Shaving brush

Don't know much about them. Picked one up a couple of years ago and it quickly faded and died over a couple of weeks. This was in a tank where other micro algae was thriving.

phong, you'll like this one

WOOT! my mini shaving brush has produced! -it's next to the middle one-

That is cool Sam.. How tall are they?? The ones I got from Max are pretty tall. Oh and the leave are green not like that.

Jeff, I hope you don't pull them out. They do that but don't touch them. Sometimes they come back. (Read that on Sam's forum :D )

Ya... I read that a little while back.... this happened a few years ago though so too late. I'll try them again here soon.

phong, they're really stubby. like 2-3" tall i was hoping for some taller ones to put on the side of the tank. it would be cool to have a long tank full of these macros for the sandbed. it would look like pine trees hehe

it's a cool macro jeff. i'll put some of these suckers in dbtc if they grow like crazy in my tank.

I believe so... they were certainly not the best and first ones to go. But they still looked good. Had a few roots on each. I'm going to let them be in the fuge for a while and see what happens.

Cool... I picked up two. One with plenty of root but the other one not so much. You can see the one with the long root grow much faster.. Good luck this time man.. Keep them in there even all the leaves are gone..
