Should I switch salts from Instant Ocean to Seachem Reef Salt?

Any thoughts on switching? The IO has worked fine for me and isn't nearly as expensive. However; I've read the Mag, CA, and Alk levels are better in Seachem than IO...and then I've read the opposite :)

Any feedback would be great!

If IO has worked fine for you, I'd stick with it.

+1. If ain't broke don't fix it. :)

+2

I used it for years and simply added a little CA/MG back (ALK is fine in it) when I mixed it.

I've been mixing some io with seachem for a couple years, I find it boosts the ca to a good level, io is tto low by itself and seachem is too high by itself

I ask myself the same question each bucket. I like the way IO tastes I guess is the only thing I can say ;)
Seriously though, I enjoy supplementing. Actually I just add Ca and Mg to the mix tank same as Gresham.

I just keep two measuring cups (super small cough syrup ones) with the correct dose marked on them for my standard WC volume. Super easy and cheap since it's all bulk 2 part components :)
