The other day I realized that the check valve i used on my return is a spring valve, not a swing valve. Now i'm worried if the spring will rust and should I change it out now or will I be ok? It was one of those that they sell in HD. Completly overlooked that.
 
John, I'm thinking about it. My returns are pretty high up and when I shut down the pump I believe I'll have very minimal siphon before it breaks. I was trying to be fancy! :D

I might take it out tho completly tho, I know they restrict the flow of the return pump. Just wanna know if I need to swap out ASAP due to it rusting if it does.
