Generally speaking, yes. It looks like that is a black acrylic box? There are other cements that you can use as well.
Weld-On 3 bonds acrylic, butyrate, PETG, polycarbonate, and polystyrene to themselves. Dries clear.
Weld-On 4052 bonds ABS, acrylic, PVC, CPVC, polystyrene, and vinyl to themselves and each other. Dries clear.
Weld-On 4707 bonds ABS to itself. Dries white.
Weld-On 4807 is high strength for joining various types of polystyrene. Dries white.

My only issue with goop sealant is what is it? does it leech chemicals into your tank?

The nice thing with most of the weldon cements, is that they are pretty much just chemical welds. The solvents melt the plastics together, then evaporate leaving pretty much no residue.
 
I'd worry about Goop as well, either version of it. I use W3 on all kinds of stuff, a very good solution. Works on more then the last even :lol:
