Tank Spawned Torches

I came across these tank spawned torches and thought it was pretty cool. The ultimate in aquaculture, knows no other habitat other than the aquarium. From the website:

This is a frag of a tank-spawned torch from a spawning event that occurred in our aquaculture systems in Spring of 2023. 100+ baby torches settled and developed in our system after the spawning event and we grew them to full sized mini-colonies 1.5 years later.

There are about 6 unique varieties of torches that resulted from the spawning event and we are happy to be the first to supply commercially available tank-spawned torch hybrids to the reefing community.

Distinct characteristics of the spawned torches that have been identified are:

1) They grow amazingly fast

2) They are extremely hardy

3) Their membranes are absurdly thick and grow downwards onto the frag plug, frag rack, or rock substrate

4) They are distinctly unique from their mother colonies except for the Grinch Jr which appears to be very similar to the mother colony
