For fish that need their teeth filed down, what do we actually feed them? Is frozen krill good enough to do the job?

For the few years that I had a Puffer and Tusk, I just fed them Krill, shrimp...and their teeth seemed fine.

In one episode of “Tanked” they made a block of food mixing plaster of Paris with pellets and nori for their puffer to gnaw on.

It just occurred to me that it’s very similar to those “vacation food” pyramids that API makes. Any negative thoughts on those?

I’m thinking it’ll occupy the puffer and distract him from chewing on EVERYTHING ELSE.
