got ethical husbandry?

These sponges are cool..

If we can get/keep them, that would be hella cool.. 8)

Strange I don't recall seeing too much in the way of sponges there, on a good note though looks like the algae is getting under control in the big tank, at least on the corals themselves, whether that's because a fish ate it or someone scrubbed it I don't know though.

Being they are a HUGE depository for stuff like this, I doubt you've seen even 100,000th of their collection :) Ever see their coelacanth?

Do they have a live Coelacanth? I remember studying these in college, and then one pops out of the ocean like a dinosaur coming back to life. Made big news in the Sci world. :)

Collection of DEAD stuff ;) The locals always knew about them, it's us westerners that think they were rediscovered

I watched an old documentary on them just a few weeks ago. Boy was it a dated show :D

I saw the dead Coelacanth when I was there 14 years ago. The room with dead stuff in jars was the place to be in the academy I tell ya. You could have betting pools going on in there with themes like "name the dead thing in a jar" or "whose spleen does this belong to?"
