High Tide Aquatics

Tikis return to the hobby, 40B

Sinking crab pellets twice a week for the hermits. Until you have fish and are actively feeding them. With no alage or food going into tank hermits may turn on each other or the snails. Crab pellets are cheap and it doesn't take many. Once they hit the water the crabs will find them by smell.

It's what I do for my 210gallon that's currently fallow.

If you use them be sure not to feed to many and literally only like twice a week is enough.

One small bag Will last several months. You certainly wouldn't run out before adding fish.

Awesome. For snails I add sheet of seaweed once or twice a week on a magnetic nori holder (I see you have that already handled). If the holder is touching bottom of tank crabs will also eat it. So raise it a few inches if you want only the snails to get to it.

Until id have coral in the tank I'd keep the lights off. The cuc doesn't need them.

I have 2 zoa frags already. I couldn't resist when I knew the cycle was getting close to finishing. some tiny blue hornets and some unnamed pink ones

Tanks don't need to be cycled for most coral.
Temp salinity flow and lighting for corals.

Corals help speed cycle up actually. Granted don't start with acroporas, nems or other delicate ones lol.

Their is a gen 2 of Tommys looks almost identical but by a different supplier.. With probably under only 1/2 gallon a day evaporation don’t need anything strong..I used a kamoer ato with no issues for a few years on a 40B other then that use Tunze on larger tanks
