That statement is a stretch but foregivable as the article is not written by someone who is in the know about our hobby. I'm on moonshine method and elements that require very small daily dosings can be dosed (and are recommended to be dosed) right at the beginning of photo period. Kalk commonly gets dosed majority at night but that would be via an auto doser.
