Torch Collectors - question on Holy Grail Torches

There is none. All that you can expect is that the person is the original buyer and has their invoice/receipt.

Very rarely will it pass further than that.

I bought it from a reputable vendor so kinda just trust their word for it. Didn’t get any proof or anything like that. Unless you buy it from AquaSD I guess there’s no way to really know for sure. Even the ones from AquaSD I’ve heard some people say it’s not even the original lineage. It’s honestly really hard to tell because torch colors are based a lot on nutrients/PAR IMO.

Personally I wouldn’t pay extra from something lineaged. I picked up the AquaSD HG because it was a good deal

AQUASD Holy Grail can mean two things, which is an interesting forum discussion.
  • Original holy grail lineage from AQUASD, which is AQUASD holy grail torch and is the popular piece.
  • or AQUASD selling a mariculture HG, which can also be AQUASD holy grail torch, and is the piece some people get but expected the lineage piece.
In both cases, the description is true, but the price on the website are completely different between the two.
 
I have a newer ASD HG and one from the original strain that I recently got from TCK; while both look very nice, they are different. Tin had brought a couple original to to CFM last time, they just look different from the rest of the HG’s that were for sale and a price to match.
