Treating Montipora eating nudibranchs with potassium permanganate

Sorry Rich but that is not true in the context of this thread of which my answer was only addressing. He removed the post so people wouldn't do it.

But yes, outside this thread you are correct.

:) Notta a worry in the world Rich :)

Glad your home and I would LOVE to catch up!

I've dipped the all the montis a second time in povidone with no sign of MN activity. The plug rack they were on got a good scrub and a FW bath while the montis were basting.

Is the gestation time for montipora nudibranchs well established? I've heard everything from 2-3 days to 3 weeks. Any corrections to the following?

Egg : 2-3 days
Juvenile: 5-7 days (unable to reproduce at this stage)
Adult: > 1year if fed, maximum reproduction < 2 months of age. Able to survive > 2 months with no food.

Since iodine dips have no effect on the eggs the goal for iodine dipping thus is to always dip before hatched juveniles get old enough to reproduce.

I was able to get a tiny (1.25") Yellow Wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus) and he is already nibbly at all the little bits. Seems to be mostly eating vermetid snails which I have no love for anyway.
