Recently I've been told by other reefers that my setup wont work long term and that my lighting setup is supplemental not meant for primary usage.. Well here’s my litto reef 7 months in! Were getting coralline algae growth all over and corals are booming :)
In fairness for lps some types of supplemental lighting is enough. Depends alot on what type and depth of tank and light mounting height. Also how long photo period is.
Your tank is looking great I wouldn't do different

Whomever told you that hasn't been in the hobby long enough. We kept things long term under garbage compact fluorescent tubes back in the 90s and early 2000s. These blades can generate a lot of light, especially when in a shallow system like this. What's your water change and mineral replacement strategy?

Only thing I'd warn about is giving distance between the mushrooms and your micromussa. If they move, you'll end up with no micromussa very quickly.

Haha thats what i was thinking, reefing equipment has gotten realllyy advanced from what set up use to run on! I dont do water changes for this setup at all, just brs balling method for the big 3 and then forbidden elixir from CH for trace elements. I spot feed frozen 2 times a week and dose 10ml CH royal microbes everyday.

Lol yes the magic carpet has scooted a bit so im working on a new rack system that’ll hopefully create a more efficient way to give every coral its own spot :)

How long did it take to recover from when you got it? Very impressive
About 2-3 months! Once it started responding to feeding thats when the real healing began. When i first got it the poor thing was just tryna survive :’)
