Which one is better for a 65g tank? Looking for cuc crew.. right now i only have 2 hermit and a baby purple tang to tackle algae/diatoms. I will add snails, but need to QT for 45days. Urchin, i heard do not need QT.
I have one of each in my 105, both are fun to watch carrying stuff around the tank seem to be constantly grazing. Personally I like the way the tuxedo looks more, but the pincushion looks more like a typical urchin. I think either or both would be fine in your tank.
I went for a pincushion and it has been doing a good job cleaning the rocks, I can clearly see its path. The way I did the rinse to remove potential free swimmers was by holding them with tongs under the end of the siphon tube while doing a small WC.
Thank you all. I do like the look of tuxedo a bit more, especially the red one. I'll keep an eye on availability on LFS. If anyone seen any in Neptune, AC, Clear Water, CoralZ or Violet, let me know.
