Urchins

I have three black spine urchins (rock urchins?) for free. They are NOT long spine urchins - just generic black urchins about the size of little cutie oranges.

They haven’t scratched my acrylic, and are great cleaners, but do occasionally taste the encrusting edge of corals as they pass by, which is annoying.

Pick up in San Rafael or I can meet at Kenny’s this weekend.

I like how you said they only taste the edge while passing by. You have me envisioning them at a fastfood drive through window. I was thinking of getting one but not after hearing this.

I had one and it would occasionally nibble on a coral and I'm convinced it wasn't intentional. The corals always grew back very fast

Yeah I don't think it is intentional either. Still annyoing when you're trying to get that fancy little frag to encrust!
