Uv sterilizer for water box AIO 65

Dino's for starters. I also have a feeling there may be some sort of fish disease running threw my tank. Ive lost everything within a week. No signs if ick but every fish I bought over the last month died in a weeks time. Eating and swimming then dead. Also bought a very healthy fish from a friend and the exact same thing happened

Sorry to hear about the fishes. Very odd. If there’s no fishes currently in your tank maybe it’s better to go fallow for 6 weeks. I have a 15w AquaUV hang on UV sterilizer and pump for $100 if needed. Was used on and off as needed so bulb should still be good.

Good to know thanks. Will put this in the back of my head while I look at options. Aqua is a Innovative Marine product ? I thought I saw this under their name. And yes tank will be fishless for awhile

I used this same one when I had Dino’s. Makes it easy because for Dino’s you want to run UV from display to display in a closed loop. You can put the pump in your display towards the sand bed and it’ll come out of the spout

AQUA Ultraviolet as far as I know is their own company. They've been around since the mid 70's. They're a staple in Aquaculture and large facilities.

IM's brand is Auqashield (spelled correctly) : https://www.innovative-marine.com/s...q93D7PGa5uQ7iDB9lG0BywoS8hhLExwBoCurkQAvD_BwE

Aqua Ultraviolet is the brand.

I've used the IM UV and wasn't impressed. It's basically the same cheap drop in UV bulbs you can buy from Amazon. It does work for algae for a month, but is ineffective after a month or so. If you want cheap and short term buy a drop in bulb from Amazon, but make sure it has a protective sleeve so it doesn't expose you to the UV light.

There's some submersible kinds but they might fall into the category of good for a couple intermittent uses but not long term continuous use. They also might be ok for algae and dinos but not slow enough for pathogens.

Aquatic Collection might have this since they carry a lot of Aquatop products.

I have the same 15w Aqua Ultraviolet hang on that Tu posted and have been successful treating dinos and QT with it. Being a legit brand, they publish the flow and exposure rates needed for different intents.
