UV Sterilizer - How to connect a pump with the sterilizer?

Pump in 2nd (skimmer) chamber, drains into last chamber with return pumps.

Zip ties hold silicone hose onto barb fitting on pump and UV

Velcro holds UV in place

Sorry gents. Forgive me, but I thought they UV inlet would go into the last chamber (return area) and the outlet would go in the first chamber/drain chamber? Am I wrong?

I think that is backwards from most stuff I've read. This way you just recirculate the same water through the UV that it already treated. With the pump upstream, you are UVing freshly drained water from the tank, then it goes back into the tank after the UV does its thing. Then the skimmer and fuge are in parallel.
