very serious emergency, need help!!!

I am out of town and my room mate just called saying there is water across my living room and my tank is leaking fast, I wanted to know if anyone can stop by my house and at least try to drain a couple of buckets out or do anything, I'm in a desperate situation right now....

please call me asap if you are anywhere in the east bay, I will pay for your gas, give you my corals, anything I need to do to make it worth your time.

it's a 40 gal tank just FIY so you won't be stuck there for hours, it can be drained in literally 30 minutes and you'll be done, I have an empty 40 gal acrylic tank you can drain the entire contents in.

I love Devon (in a manly kinda way haha) he went to my house, moved all my livestock into a spare tank, not only did he save my livestock but my formal living room floor too and the ceiling of the floor bellow.

Naturally my first reaction was "god why me" but now I belive I was as lucky as I could have wished to be. It just so happened that my roomy came home and caught the leak as it was starting, Devon got there within the hour in fact I don't believe the hardwood floor saw more than a gallon or two of saltwater. My livestock survived :D if they'd died this would have been the end of the hobby for me!

So Devon, I know I said this a bunch of times already but I owe you, anytime you need help with anything, you got it ;)

Alright brake time is over, I'm in Bakersfield & still have 4 hrs of driving ahead.

Thanks to everyone who reached out in response this is the best membership that I've been a part of :D

So now the plan is to relocate the reef tank to the garage, at least temporarily...

I have a 55 gallon glass tank that I was going to get rid of but I think I'm going to set it up w/ HOB overflow (garage is concrete & slopes off into the street) and actually run a desent skimmer, sump & everything. Old setup was limiting as I'm sure many recall me complaining about it in plenty other threads in the past haha....

My only question right now is about plumbing, considering that i have to whip up some plumbing very quickly now would the fiberglass reinforced tubing HD sells be ok to use from overflow - sump - return? again this is in the garage so I don't want to bother drilling glass or doing any extra work. The fish, corals & all my LR are temporarily in a 45 gallon acrylic tank with a heater & 1 powerhead, so I need to get the livestock situated ASAP...

Also anyone local that wants to sell me return output pieces? (ie; 3/4" nozzles etc.) I was just going to make something out of PVC & use that as return output so this isn't as important right now.
