So spent the last few weeks in South Florida and we made a quick detour to visit a couple stores in the area before grabbing some croquetas and coffee.

First store was Ocean View aquariums and they had some pretty unique displays plus live phyto, rotifers, and brine shrimp on tap:

I'd never seen a tank with an active sand fountain inside of it, but it worked and was really interesting.

The next store was Strictly Fish and they had a pretty amazing selection of fresh and saltwater fish, but also tons of corals, and one of the biggest chalices I've ever seen:

Didn't make it up to Orlando for WWC but maybe another time!

That phyto bar is pretty cool. Never seen that.

How are the Florida prices for corals compared to CA?
Prices seemed pretty reasonable compared to here for non "hot" items like holy grail torches etc. Some of these big colonies were the price of frags:

Since nothing except like ricordea are collected locally, they prob are sourcing from the same wholesalers as out here, but lower overhead. That big elegance for $79 though seemed great.
